“Healing happens when the disease is seen and understood, and everything else is a catalyst to that.”
— A Peruvian village shaman.
HomeoTherapy incorporates the belief that we cannot change ‘who we are’, but we can change our resistance to being ‘who we are’ and how we express ourselves in the world. Illness of any kind is there to let us know that we are out of balance, that there is friction between our energy field and that of the world and our fellow players, and to remind us that we have a choice. ‘Dis-ease’ can be seen as a helpful guide (if sometimes unwelcome) nudging us towards becoming what we are meant to be and express. But to make changes, first we must understand what the symptoms are telling us. Some would call this the soul journey. We know when we are in balance because we generally feel ‘at ease’.
In the consultation process, my main aim as the homeotherapist is understand the imbalance sufficiently to become clear which homeopathic remedy to prescribe. It is my experience that during the questioning to obtain the necessary information, the client himself/herself gains greater understanding of his/her own process.
“The time will come when with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other’s welcome.”

Homeopathy Assisted?
Homeopathy has been in use for over 200 yrs using remedies from animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms, and more complex substances. Correctly prescribed remedies can reach deeply to alter disease states on physical, emotional and mental levels. More recent homeopathic research is revealing recognisable patterns of energy expression in human beings who can benefit from particular remedies and I use my understanding of this to formulate my questions. During the therapeutic process, when indicated, I prescribe appropriate remedies, which catalyse the movement of the energetic field towards balance.
- In HomeoTherapy the remedy work and the therapeutic process work hand in hand.
- More intense remedy work is needed with acute physical conditions.
- With children and babies the focus of treatment is primarily remedy work.
